Illinois High School Basketball - Westinghouse nips Leo
December 30, 2022: Chicago, IL 60620 Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), 52-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westinghouse upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Curie (Chicago, IL) to play the Condors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Condors go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Curie won 42-15 in their recent non-league bout against Bogan (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Lions play the Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
