Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) and the host Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY), saw Franklin Academy's basketball squad hold off Beekmantown by a tally of 41-38.

With the victory, Franklin Academy improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.
