Illinois High School Basketball - Naperville North nips Benet Academy
December 30, 2022: Naperville, IL 60563 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) and the visiting Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL), saw Naperville North's basketball squad hold off Benet Academy by a tally of 47-43.
With the victory, Naperville North improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Hinsdale Central lost 37-31 in their recent non-league battle against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
The Redwings (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Nazareth Academy edged Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 62-58, in a non-league battle.
