Ohio High School Basketball - Boardman thwarts Tallmadge
December 30, 2022: Youngstown, OH 44512 The Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, OH), 50-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Canfield notched a victory over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 54-39, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Cuyahoga Falls for a Suburban - American test on Wednesday, January 4. Tallmadge will encounter a Black Tigers squad coming off a 66-30 non-league win over Garfield Community Learning Center (Akron, OH). The Black Tigers record now stands at 6-5.
