The Centennial Coyotes basketball team (Peoria, AZ), was nudged 33-29 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Bradshaw Mountain Bears (Prescott Valley, AZ)

The Bears now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mingus for a 4A Grand Canyon battle on Tuesday, January 3. Bradshaw Mountain will confront a Marauders team coming off a 55-35 non-league loss to Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Marauders record now stands at 4-2.

The Coyotes (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Trojans come into the 5A Northwest battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Paradise Valley was nudged by Cibola (Yuma, AZ), 53-42, in a non-league battle.
