December 30, 2022: Salem, OR 97304 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) and the visiting Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR), saw Western Christian's basketball squad overcome Cascade Christian by a tally of 37-22.
With the victory, Western Christian improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Willamina (Willamina, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Tri-River challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Willamina lost 31-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Warrenton (Warrenton, OR)
Next up, the Challengers play the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Cascade Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
