In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Center Cougars basketball team scored a tight 41-39 triumph over the River Valley Falcons.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League match, on Wednesday, January 4. Center will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 8-5 record after their 46-38 non-league win over Sacramento (Sacramento, CA).
