The Hough Huskies topped the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings basketball team by a final score of 57-44 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 60 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Hough will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 15-0 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).

With the defeat, Central Cabarrus moves to 8-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to face the Mustangs in a 3A Conference 48 game on Friday, January 6. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 6-5.
