Wisconsin High School Basketball - New Auburn nips Chetek-Weyerhaeuser
December 30, 2022: Chetek, WI 54728 New Auburn Trojans (New Auburn, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs (Chetek, WI), 57-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Auburn upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Trojans host Northwood (Minong, WI) to play the Evergreens in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Evergreens go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Spring Valley Cardinals (Spring Valley, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 62-42 non-league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, WI).
