Florida High School Basketball - DME Academy fells William Penn Charter
December 30, 2022: Daytona Beach, FL 32114 DME Academy DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA), 68-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DME Academy upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The DME Academy travel to Legacy Early College (Greenville, SC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Legacy Early College won 45-34 in their recent non-league bout against Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Quakers play the George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 31. William Penn Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Miami Country Day (Miami, FL).
