In Friday's non-league outing, the East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), by a count of 64-43.

The Wildcats (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hillside (Durham, NC). The Hornets go into the 4A Conference 30 outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Hillside was crushed by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 71-56, in a non-league outing.
