California High School Basketball - Northwood trounces El Modena
December 30, 2022: Orange, CA 92869 The Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA) basketball crushed the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 63-25 in Friday's non-league test.
The Timberwolves (12-4) will now prepare for their test against University (Irvine, CA). The Trojans go into the Pacific Coast test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, University was trounced by Francis Parker (San Diego, CA), 43-27, in a non-league test.
The Vanguards now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Foothill for a Crestview test on Tuesday, January 3. El Modena will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 63-35 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-7.
