Wisconsin High School Basketball - Evansville holds off Waterloo
December 30, 2022: Evansville, WI 53536 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Evansville Blue Devils (Evansville, WI) and the visiting Waterloo Pirates (Waterloo, WI), saw Evansville's basketball squad hold off Waterloo by a tally of 43-42.
With the victory, Evansville improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Whitewater (Whitewater, WI) to battle the Whippets in a Rock Valley battle on Thursday, January 5. The Whippets come into the battle with a record of 4-6.
The Pirates (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Blackhawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Fort Atkinson was nudged by Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI), 59-48, in a non-league battle.
