In Friday's non-league outing, the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) basketball squad beat the host Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX), by a margin of 48-31.

The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region I District 5 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Tahoka defeated Gorman (Gorman, TX), 28-18, in a non-league outing.
