Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 39-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Havelock upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Rams travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Cardinals in a 3A/4A Conference 19 contest on Tuesday, January 3. The Cardinals enter the contest with a record of 6-1. Jacksonville won 54-37 in their recent league contest against New Bern (New Bern, NC)
