December 30, 2022: Jefferson, GA 30548 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes basketball team scored a tight 57-51 triumph over the Jackson County Panthers.
In their next game, the Purple Hurricanes meet the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 3. Monroe Area will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 9-5 record after their 88-58 non-league win over Ola (McDonough, GA).
