Oregon High School Basketball - Ridgeview holds off Jefferson
December 30, 2022: Jefferson, OR 97352 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR) and the host Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR), saw Ridgeview's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 40-35.
With the victory, Ridgeview improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Summit (Bend, OR) to confront the Storm in a 5A Intermountain challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Summit won 42-39 in their recent non-league challenge against McNary (Keizer, OR)
Next up, the Lions confront the Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) in a 3A PacWest challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Loggers come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 38-28 non-league loss to Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR).
