December 30, 2022: Gainesville, GA 30507 The Walker Valley Mustangs routed the host Johnson Knights basketball team by a final score of 54-22 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN) in a 4A District 5 game, on Friday, January 6. Walker Valley will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record.
With the defeat, Johnson moves to 0-10 on the year. The Knights host East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA) to face the Broncos in a AAAA Region 8A game on Tuesday, January 3.
