Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Seneca Valley can't hold off Knoch
December 30, 2022: Saxonburg, PA 16056 The Knoch Knights basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Seneca Valley Raiders to 32 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeport for a WPIAL 4A 1 contest on Monday, January 2. Knoch will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 56-55 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.
The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Butler (Butler, PA). The Golden Tornado come into the WPIAL 6A 1 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Butler edged Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA), 57-42, in a non-league contest.
