California High School Basketball - Providence crushes Lincoln
December 30, 2022: San Diego, CA 92113 Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA), 63-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Westridge (Pasadena, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a Prep bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Westridge lost 43-37 in their recent league game against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA)
With the defeat, Lincoln moves to 1-9 on the year. The Hornets travel to Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to face the Nighthawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 3. The Nighthawks enter the game with a record of 10-4. Del Norte won 52-51 in their recent non-league game against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA)
