Texas High School Basketball - Tyler Legacy crushes Marshall
December 30, 2022: Tyler, TX 75701 Tyler Legacy Raiders (Tyler, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX), 56-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tyler Legacy upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Horn (Mesquite, TX) to clash with the Jaguars in a 6A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Horn lost 49-45 in their recent non-league game against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
With the defeat, Marshall moves to 7-12 on the year. The Mavericks host Longview (Longview, TX) to face the Lobos in a 5A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, January 3. The Lobos enter the game with a record of 16-5. Longview lost 34-32 in their recent non-league game against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX)
