The Prestonwood Christian Lions basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Pecos Eagles to 31 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Paul II for a TAPPS 6A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Prestonwood Christian will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-4.

The Eagles (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Indians enter the 4A Region I District 3 contest with a 13-7 record.
