December 30, 2022: St. Paul, MN 55106 The Johnson Governors ice hockey squad scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Jefferson Jaguars to 2 in the Governors non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Johnson moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Governors host Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. The Spartans go into the contest with a record of 2-5. Simley lost 6-4 in their recent non-league contest against Kennedy (Bloomington, MN)
The Jaguars now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South St. Paul for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 31. Jefferson will face a Packers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Packers record now stands at 0-4.
