Washington, DC High School Basketball - Southern Maryland Christian Academy knocked off by Archbishop Carroll
December 30, 2022: Washington, DC 20017 The Archbishop Carroll Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a contest on Wednesday, January 4.
The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders enter the contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Riverdale Baptist ran past St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 68-65, in a non-league contest.
