Utah High School Basketball - Brighton nips Layton Christian Academy
December 30, 2022: Layton, UT 84040 Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT), 1-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brighton upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bengals travel to Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT) to play the Titans in a bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Eagles play the Real Salt Lake Academy Griffins (RSL) (Herriman, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Layton Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
