California High School Basketball - Aragon ripped by Pittsburg
December 30, 2023: San Mateo, CA 94402 The Pittsburg Pirates basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Aragon Dons to 51 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De Anza for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Pittsburg will battle a Dons team coming off a 85-77 league win over Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Dons record now stands at 4-5.
The Dons (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The FIGHTING KNIGHTS enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Hillsdale triumphed over Westmoor (Daly City, CA), 49-48, in a non-league contest.
