Illinois High School Basketball - Argo can't hold off Prosser
December 30, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 The Argo Argonauts basketball team (Summit, IL), was nudged 44-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Prosser Falcons (Chicago, IL)
The Falcons now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schurz for a Chicago Public - White North battle on Wednesday, January 3. Prosser will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-35 non-league loss to Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-13.
The Argonauts (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Chicago Christian edged Universal (Bridgeview, IL), 84-50, in a non-league battle.
