The The Woodlands Highlanders basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Austin Maroons to 38 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.

The Highlanders now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willis for a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 2. The Woodlands will battle a Wildkats team coming off a 80-26 non-league win over Milby (Houston, TX). The Wildkats record now stands at 13-8.

The Maroons (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers come into the 6A Region IV District 26 contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Travis dropped by Plano (Plano, TX), 64-47, in a non-league contest.
