December 30, 2023: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), by a margin of 62-35.
The Yellowjackets (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI). The Falcons go into the Oakland - Blue outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Rochester smashed Lakeland (White Lake, MI), 51-41, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Kettering for a Lakes Valley outing on Friday, January 5. Walled Lake Northern will encounter a Captains squad coming off a 61-48 non-league loss to Romeo (Romeo, MI). The Captains record now stands at 2-6.
