Lawrenceburg Tigers (Lawrenceburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lawrenceburg upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN) to clash with the Shiners in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Shiners go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Rising Sun lost 71-39 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Beech Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
