California High School Basketball - Bellflower nudges Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary
December 30, 2023: Bellflower, CA 90706 Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA), 60-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bellflower upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Buccaneers host Paramount (Paramount, CA) to clash with the Pirates in a San Gabriel Valley bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Paramount won 57-54 in their recent non-league bout against Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) in a Santa Fe bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 67-58 non-league loss to Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA).
