California High School Basketball - St. Edward thwarts Bishop O'Dowd
December 30, 2023: Oakland, CA 94605 The St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) basketball knocked off the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 82-74 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, St. Ignatius notched a victory over St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH), 87-68, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Alameda for a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Wednesday, January 3. Bishop O'Dowd will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 65-56 non-league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-4.
