North Dakota High School Basketball - Riggs nudges Bismarck
December 30, 2023: Bismarck, ND 58501 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) basketball squad edged the host Bismarck Demons (Bismarck, ND), by a count of 78-73.
The Governors (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Patriots go into the AA outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Lincoln held off Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD), 53-50, in a league outing.
The Demons now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jamestown for a AA West outing on Friday, January 5. Bismarck will clash with a Bluejays squad coming off a 96-51 non-league loss to Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-5.
