December 30, 2023: Brandon, SD 57005 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) and the visiting Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY), saw Brandon Valley's basketball squad overcome Thunder Basin by a tally of 64-46.
With the victory, Brandon Valley improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lynx host Watertown (Watertown, SD) to confront the Arrows in a AA challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Arrows come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Watertown won 69-50 in their recent league challenge against Douglas (Box Elder, SD)
Next up, the Bolts confront the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Thunder Basin will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 54-45 league win over Yankton (Yankton, SD).
