Maryland High School Basketball - St. Paul's knocked off by Brandywine
December 30, 2023: Brooklandville, MD 21022 The Brandywine Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and held the host St. Paul's Crusaders to 52 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dickinson for a Blue Hen Flight - B contest on Thursday, January 4. Brandywine will battle a Rams team coming off a 63-44 non-league win over Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.
The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Concordia Prep (Towson, MD). The Saints enter the MIAA B - Red contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Concordia Prep was defeated by Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD), 54-51, in a league contest.
