The Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), 54-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Golden Tornado (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Raiders go into the WPIAL 6A 1 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Seneca Valley went down by East River (Orlando, FL), 58-43, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gateway for a WPIAL 5A 3 test on Tuesday, January 2. McKeesport will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Gators record now stands at 7-1.
