California High School Basketball - Calexico crushes Desert Hot Springs
December 30, 2023: Desert Hot Springs, CA 92240 Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles (Desert Hot Springs, CA), 57-24 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Calexico improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Southwest EC lost 64-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA) in a Desert Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Desert Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Mighty Arabs come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA).
