The Calvary Baptist Cougars (La Verne, CA) basketball felled the visiting Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA), 62-54 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Nogales (La Puente, CA). The Nobles go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record.

The Silver Knights now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Academy for Academic Excellence for a Cross Valley test on Tuesday, January 2. Riverside Prep will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 61-59 non-league loss to Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-9.
