The Start Spartans basketball team (Toledo, OH), was overwhelmed 64-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Central Carolina Prep Defenders (Burlington, NC)

The Defenders now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elevation Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Central Carolina Prep will battle a Honey Badgers team coming off a 63-48 non-league win over Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Honey Badgers record now stands at 5-8.
