December 30, 2023: Hillside, IL 60162 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Clark Eagles (Chicago, IL), by a count of 68-55.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Huskies go into the West Suburban - Silver outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Oak Park-River Forest was topped by Simeon (Chicago, IL), 48-46, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Laurence for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Clark will meet a Vikings team coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 8-7.
