Texas High School Basketball - Connally edges San Angelo Central
December 30, 2023: San Angelo, TX 76901 The Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) basketball nipped the host San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX), 54-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cadets (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Dripping Springs got by Lehman (Kyle, TX), 62-34, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hendrickson for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. San Angelo Central will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 66-52 non-league win over McNeil (Austin, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 13-7.
