Texas High School Basketball - Dalhart crushes Ozona
December 30, 2023: Ozona, TX 76943 Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX), 73-22 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Dalhart upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Stratford (Stratford, TX) to play the Elks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Elks come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Stratford lost 58-33 in their recent non-league bout against Pampa (Pampa, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Christoval Cougars (Christoval, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Ozona will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 41-37 non-league loss to McMullen County (Tilden, TX).
