December 30, 2023: Downers Grove, IL 60515 The Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), 43-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Prospect notched a victory over Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL), 51-46, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cary-Grove for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Palatine will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 70-46 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.
