In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Eastern Hills Highlanders basketball team scored a tight 61-58 triumph over the Randall Raiders.

In their next game, the Highlanders meet the Dunbar Wildcats (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Eastern Hills will attempt to better on its 16-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 74-68 non-league loss to Specially Fit Academy (Dover, FL).

With the defeat, Randall moves to 17-3 on the year. The Raiders travel to Canyon (Canyon, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 4 match on Friday, January 5.
