Missouri High School Basketball - Festus nips Potosi
December 30, 2023: Potosi, MO 63664 Festus Tigers (Festus, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Potosi Trojans (Potosi, MO), 56-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Festus upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to DeSoto (DeSoto, MO) to play the Dragons in a Jefferson County - Large bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 4-7. DeSoto lost 68-54 in their recent league bout against Festus (Festus, MO)
Next up, the Trojans play the Herculaneum Black Cats (Herculaneum, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Potosi will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Black Cats come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 58-55 league loss to Crystal City (Crystal City, MO).
