California High School Basketball - Morse nips Foothills Christian

December 30, 2023: San Diego, CA 92114

Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morse upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Kearny (San Diego, CA) to play the Komets in a City bout on Friday, January 5. The Komets come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Kearny lost 69-46 in their recent non-league bout against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) in a Coastal bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Foothills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Torreys come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Punahou (Honolulu, HI).
