The Indians now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittsburg for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. Frankston will battle a Pirates team coming off a 51-16 non-league loss to Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 6-13.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls come into the 3A Region III District 23 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Anderson-Shiro was routed by North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX), 55-44, in a non-league battle.
