Washington High School Basketball - Mira Costa can't hold off Garfield
December 30, 2023: Seattle, WA 98122 The Garfield Bulldogs basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs to 58 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rainier Beach for a 3A Metro contest on Wednesday, January 3. Garfield will battle a Vikings team coming off a 61-30 league loss to O'Dea (Seattle, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
The Mustangs (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Culver City (Culver City, CA). The Centaurs come into the Bay contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Culver City edged Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA), 69-58, in a non-league contest.
