Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greenwood tops West Perry
December 30, 2023: Millerstown, PA 17062 Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), 31-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Greenwood upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA) to play the Tigers in a Tri-Valley bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-7. East Juniata lost 54-25 in their recent non-league bout against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, January 2. West Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 46-39 non-league loss to Northeastern (Manchester, PA).
