Kentucky High School Basketball - Union County bounced by Henry Clay
December 30, 2023: Lexington, KY 40502 Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), 65-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Henry Clay upgrades its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Sayre (Lexington, KY) to play the Spartans in a District 42 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Sayre won 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL)
Next up, the Braves play the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Tornado come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 73-59 non-league win over Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY).
